Evolution of any thing in its own right is an art form. And while I look at honest fact that I fail to update this blog less and less I find its not a question of my habits, but more so the subject of Evolution.
As I write this message I can not help but think just how much this blog gets syndicated through the web with each and every post I make. It is not a question of if I am doing awesome work which truth be told, hasn't been published here yet, but the "absence" of awesome work on the web that could make me stand out if I was the only one talking about it in my particular corner of the world.
The problem I face these days is I have been so consumed with someone else's Fairytale that I hadn't the time to sit down and continue working on my own. And sadly this site has paid dearly for it by the amount of attention it receives in my daily life. For the sake of working for commercial clients I dearly forgot the one thing I loved about blogs in that it was completely mine.
That a blog is merely your own opinion, your own thoughts, and your own expression which makes it extremely easy to maintain when you are an artist. By a simple email, a attached photo, and even a simple txt message via cell phone your words and images are online. But in the course of this year setting up blogs for companies and businesses, I clearly forgot that "FairyTales" was my blog, and I could post what ever I wanted.
So this week is the one week where I am on light duty handling a few minor details. The closest I could come to a vacation since unlike weeks before there isn't any current jobs for clients on my desk. So I am taking this time to put my affairs in order and develop a system where "FairyTales" will be updated at least once a week if not more with art from myself and those in the Las Vegas area. The goal to return back to visual artists and citizen journalism at its finest to get things back on track and post things worth seeing and words worth saying.
In Oct. "FairyTales" will celebrate its 3rd year anniversary and as its creator I can say for better or worst it wasn't anything I had hoped it would be by now in large part to my own faults. So now is the time when all the puzzle pieces I have developed over the years comes together. I start work on re-painting "FairyTales" with a new design this week in prep for next month's celebration. And while doing so this Friday I hope to announce the details on me designing "your" blog if you are a visual artist, photographer, musician, model, or even live performer in the Las Vegas or Henderson Nevada areas for "Free" for a limited time.
